With a master’s degree in education and a reading endorsement, Diana Sohn trained in Orton-Gillingham (IMSE) and LETRS and has specialized in the Science of Reading. She has over 30 years of classroom experience and has spent the past seven years as a reading specialist and literacy coach, helping teachers implement SOR and guiding students to gain confidence as they “crack the reading code.”

She continues to expand her expertise through trainings on dyslexia, foundational reading skills, and comprehension.

Diana has provided professional development on foundational skills, multisyllabic words, vocabulary, comprehension, as well as curriculum implementation -including UFLI, Phonics for Reading, and Word Connections- to teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators.

During the summer, Diana has tutored elementary students . She enjoys working with students  and  seeing the joy in their faces when they begin to break the reading code and gain confidence in themselves.  In her spare time, she enjoys weaving, reading, puzzles, spending time with her family and beloved dog, Brandy.
